Qualification Overview

This qualification reflects the role of fire and rescue team members required to respond to emergencies, structural fire, operate breathing apparatus and deal with hazardous and/or highly dangerous situations in a team environment.

LRM deliver this qualification over 8 days in actual industrial environments utilising industry best practice methodologies, state of the art equipment and Trainers who are current industry professionals.

 

Certification

On successful completion of training, participants will be awarded the following nationally recognised qualification:

  • PUA20619 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting & Emergency Operations)

Your qualification will include the following nationally accredited units of competence (11):

  • PUAEQU001 Prepare, maintain and test response equipment

  • PUAFIR204 Respond to urban fire

  • PUAFIR215 Prevent injury

  • PUATEA001 Work in a team

  • PUAOPE013 Operate communications systems and equipment

  • PUAFIR207 Operate breathing apparatus open circuit

  • HLTFA211A Provide basic emergency life support

  • PUAFIR309 Operate pumps

  • PUALAW001 Protect and preserve incident scene

  • PUAFIR218 Respond to isolated structure fire

  • PUASAR022 Participate in a rescue operation

Investment

$4,840 per participant (GST not applicable)

If you enrol to undertake the full qualification, LRM would be pleased to offer a 10% discount reducing your total investment to $4,400.

Please note that if you already hold one or more units (obtained within the last 3 years), LRM will provide a direct credit towards your qualification at no additional cost. This will reduce your total investment further together with the course duration.
