Certificate III in Public Safety
(Firefighting & Emergency Operations)
This qualification reflects the role of senior fire, rescue and response team members who are trained to respond to emergencies, structural fire, undertake search and rescue, operate breathing apparatus and deal with hazardous and/or highly dangerous situations in a team environment.
LRM deliver this qualification over 21 days in actual industrial environments utilising industry best practice methodologies, state of the art equipment and Trainers who are current industry professionals.
On successful completion of training, participants will be awarded the following nationally recognised qualification:

Your qualification will include the following nationally accredited units of competence (11):
PUAFIR302 Suppress urban fire
PUAFIR320 Render hazardous materials incidents safe
PUAFIR308 Employ personal protection at a hazardous materials incident
PUAFIR316 Identify, detect and monitor hazardous materials at an incident
PUAOHS002 Maintain safety at an incident site
PUAVEH001 Drive vehicles under operational conditions
HLTFA311A Apply first aid
HLTFA404C Apply advanced resuscitation techniques
PUASAR024 Undertake road crash rescue
PUASAR025 Undertake confined space rescue
PUASAR032 Undertake vertical rescue
PUAFIR309 Operate pumps
$9,360 per participant (GST not applicable)
If you enrol to undertake the full qualification, LRM would be pleased to offer a 10% discount reducing your total investment to $8,424.
Please note that if you already hold one or more units (obtained within the last 3 years), LRM will provide a direct credit towards your qualification at no additional cost. This will reduce your total investment further together with the course duration.
